Section 61
Confidentiality must be kept
: (1) Accounts related to cooperative bank transactions, details of financial transactions and other transactions must be kept confidential.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), there shall be no hindrance to the provision of books, accounts, statements of accounts and other records relating to the transactions of the bank for the following purposes:-
(a) to a court in connection with a lawsuit or other legal proceeding,
(b) to the auditor in connection with the audit,
(c) to the concerned authority in connection with the inspection,
(d) To the person or officer authorized to demand details according to the prevailing law,
(e) to its members.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), there shall be no hindrance to the provision of books, accounts, statements of accounts and other records relating to the transactions of the bank for the following purposes:-
